Brachah Braverman is the daughter of Rabbi Chaim Kanievsky, one of the greatest Talmudic interpreters of his generation and one of the most revered figures among the world’s ultra-Orthodox Jews, died on Friday in the Israeli city of Bnei Brak, near Tel Aviv. He was 94 on March 18, 2022.
The late Rabbi married one wife and had 8 children with her. Rabbi Chaim and his partner Batsheva gave birth to Chana Steinman, Leah Koledetski, Rabbi Avraham Yeshayah Kanievsky, Rutie Tzivion, Rabbi Shlomo Kanievsky, Brachah Braverman, Deena Epstein, and Rabbi Yitzchak Shaul (Shuki) Kanievsky.
Brachah Braverman happens to be one of the daughters of Rabbi Chaim but she is not very well known.
