Bomet Schools offer fire-fitting lessons
When a fire broke out at Boito Boys Secondary school dormitory recently, the blaze was brought under control using installed fire-fighting equipment. Parents have now praised the school for equipping with fire-fighting skills.
Konoin OCPD Alphonce Wambua thanked students for the action which helped to save property worth millions from destruction.
Wambua said that it was a brave act by students who moved in and extinguished the fire within minutes.
Due to these numerous fire incidents, an increasing number of schools are equipping students with fire-fighting techniques.
