Alejandro Kirk is a professional baseball catcher for MLB’s Toronto Blue Jays. Recently, he was named an All-star alongside his teammate Vladimir Guerrero Jr., for the first time in his career.
He was initially noticed by Dean Decillis, a scout for the Toronto Blue Jays, at a Mexican League showcase hosted by the Toros de Tijuana. In 2017, he competed in one match of the Gulf Coast League Blue Jays Rookies, making his professional debut.
Kirk spent the whole 2018 campaign with the Rookie Advanced Bluefield Blue Jays, where he hit.354, had 10 home runs and drove in 57 runs in 58 matches.
