Billy rose to fame as the lead guitarist, primary songwriter and a member of a renowned rock band called the Smashing Pumpkins. He was also a strong athlete in elementary school and a member of a baseball team at Marquardt Middle School. However, his passion for athletics eventually diminished when he began his studies at Glenbard North High school.
Billy grew up listening to Jeff Beck and Jimi Hendrix. He was able to discover an alternative rock through Bauhaus and The Cure while he was still in high school. Later, Billy decided to pursue his career as a musician immediately after highschool.
