Hillsboro native Beverly Carroll passed away on Monday, June 27. Born on September 19, 1961, in West Union, Ohio, Carroll was the daughter of the late Harry and Marry Helen (Seaman) Reed.
She was sixty years old at the time of her death. Besides her beloved parents, Carroll was preceded by her brother Thomas J. Reed, father-in-law, Robert “Speed” and mother-in-law Orene “Tootie” Carroll, and two brothers-in-law, Forrest and Rick Carroll.

Beverly did her master’s degree from Xavier University. In her career, she was a teacher at Jefferson, Sinking Spring, and Peebles. She also served as principal/assistant superintendent of Blanchester Schools. Moreover, Carroll was the principal of Western Brown.
A member of the Sinking Spring Community Church, Carroll was an excellent pianist, and in addition, she was involved in other church ministries. She served on the Festival of Bells Committee and was the Hillsboro Athletics Boosters Club’s president for several years.

Beverly Carroll is survived by her beloved husband, Timothy Carroll. The couple has three devoted sons, Adam (Jillian) Carroll of Peebles, Alan Carroll of Hillsboro, and Eric (Gabby) Carroll, captain, U.S. Air Force.
Carroll had seven grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart. Her grandkids’ names are Caydence, Collier, Henley, Amryn, Guyton, Penelope, and Max Carroll.
Her brother-in-law’s name is Roger Carroll of Hillsboro, and she also had several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends. Carroll’s sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce and Wendell Sparks, hail from Hillsboro.
Beverley’s two loving sisters and brothers-in-law are Rosemary and Arthur Myers from Sandusky, Ohio, and Barbara and Dean Economous of Salem, Ohio. Her two sisters-in-law Sandy Reed is from Peebles, and Jenny Carroll is from Sinking Spring.
