Beth Jean Riesgraf was born on August 24, 1978 in Belle Plaine, Minnesota to Elroy Othmar Riesgraf and Janet Ann Riesgraf. She comes from a large family and is the youngest of 6 daughters.
As a child, Beth was extremely active and constantly outdoors. As a result, she played softball, tennis, and as a child. When she was 13, Beth moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she attended Cimarron-Memorial High School in 1996 with honors.
Even before finding fame, Beth has always been a very likeable person. In high school, she was voted “Most Admired Senior” and was prom queen in her senior year. Beth attempted, for the remainder of the 2000s, to build on her filmography, appearing in moderately successful shorts and films, and in which she notably guest-starred on many of her TV shows, from How I met your mother at Leave No Trace.
2008 brought her the big break she had long awaited for. Beth was cast as the “thief,” one of the main characters in Leverage, an action drama about how a team of one crook uses his skills to fight injustices inflicted on ordinary citizens by the businesses and governments. You could say the series is an American version of Hustle, from Britain.
The series had 5 successful seasons before being canceled in 2012 for a decline in popularity. For her role, Beth was nominated three times for the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television.
