Ben Platt Siblings: A Talented Trio – Jonah Platt & Henry Platt
Ben Platt, the renowned actor and singer, is not the only member of the Platt family who possesses extraordinary talent. He is part of a trio of Jewish brothers, which includes Jonah Platt and Henry Platt. Let’s take a closer look at these remarkable siblings and their accomplishments.
Firstly, let’s introduce the Platt family. Their father, Marc Platt, is a highly respected movie, TV, and theater producer, known for his work on projects like Legally Blonde and Rent Live. Their mother, Julie Platt, has held influential roles within the Jewish community, including being the current board chair of the Foundation for Jewish Camp.
Raised in a Conservative Jewish household in Los Angeles, the Platt siblings were instilled with a strong Jewish upbringing. All three brothers, along with their sisters Hannah and Sam (though we’ll focus on the brothers for now), attended Camp Ramah in California and participated in Ramah Israel Seminar, a transformative six-week trip to Israel for rising high school seniors.
Ben Platt, undoubtedly the most well-known of the trio, gained widespread recognition for originating the role of Evan Hansen in the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen. He released his debut album, Sing to Me Instead, and has even graced the stage of Radio City Music Hall with a concert special on Netflix. Ben is also in a relationship with fellow actor-singer Noah Galvin.
Jonah Platt, the eldest brother, has also made significant strides in the entertainment industry. He showcased his talents in the hit musical Wicked as Fiyero, appeared in The Office finale, participated in Jesus Christ Superstar Live, and lent his voice to the animated series Trolls: The Beat Goes On. Jonah is married to Courtney Platt (formerly Galiano), and the couple has a delightful baby named Joseph Michael Platt.
The youngest brother, Henry Platt, is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania and is set to graduate in 2021. Like his brothers, Henry possesses a remarkable singing voice and has demonstrated his creativity through platforms like TikTok.
While the focus is on the Brothers Platt, it is worth mentioning that the family includes two sisters, Hannah and Sam. However, they prefer to maintain a more private presence.
The Platt siblings, with their immense talent and shared Jewish heritage, form a close-knit family. Together, they celebrate their traditions and continue to excel in their respective fields. Their love and support for one another are evident in their shared experiences and the joy they bring to each other’s lives.
As the Brothers Platt continue to make their mark in the entertainment industry, their talent and passion serve as an inspiration to aspiring artists and fans alike. With their incredible voices and impressive accomplishments, Ben, Jonah, and Henry Platt are a testament to the power of talent, dedication, and family bonds.
