Ben Higgins is an American reality television star who starred on the 20th season of ABC’s The Bachelor, after appearing on the 11th season of The Bachelorette.
During which he got engaged to the winner of the show, 25-year-old flight attendant Lauren Bushnell, in early 2016. The couple then starred in their own spin-off show titled ‘Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?’ later that year. He had previously contested to win the heart of Kaitlyn Bristowe on the 11th season of ‘The Bachelorette’ on May 2015, finishing third.
He has also appeared in many of the other Bachelor Nation shows including ‘Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise’, ‘Bachelor Live’, and ‘The Bachelor Winter Games’, as well as the TV-movie ‘The Bachelor at 20: A Celebration of Love’.He has created the guest look on many TV shows like ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’, ‘Live! During his student life, Ben Higgins served as the Event Manager at Jonah Club Fish Fry for one year and three months in 2007-08. He was the Student Ministries Intern at the Warsaw Community Church for about a year since May 2009. In April 2011, he joined as the Marketing and Fundraising Coordinator at the Bakers Youth Club and served in that position for two years and four months.
He began working as a Business Analyst at Talisys (formerly Comprehensive Software Systems) in August 2013 and in September 2015, was promoted to an Account Manager position. He became the Vice President Of Business Development of the company in February 2017 and served in that position the rest of the year. He co-founded Generous International LLC in October 2017 and is currently the President of the company.

One month after The Bachelor alum revealed on his podcast that he was dating someone new, he made his relationship with Jessica Clarke Instagram official.
“I’ve been selfishly keeping this girl to myself for too long! Hey, friends meet @jessclarke_! I successfully slid into her Dm’s a few months ago. I took a risk and I am glad I did,” Higgins captioned a photo of himself and Clarke, which was captured in Honduras, on Wednesday.

I first picked up the guitar at the age of 10, learning a few basic chords on a nylon string acoustic. I learned a few simple Irish folk songs which helped me develop my rhythm and ear.
The thing that changed it all was discovering an old Iron Maiden tape in a dusty corner at home. The album was ‘Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son’. Never before had I heard music so broodingly atmospheric, yet so anthemic. There was no going back. I had to have an electric guitar! I eventually did get my hands on a ¾ size, black Washburn and dived into the world of amps and distortion!
A couple of bands followed, each getting closer to the music I so wanted to be playing until I was in the position of having a few song ideas of my own so I got together a new outfit which I called The Reckoning. I’ve released 2 albums online called ‘Defining Armageddon’ and ‘Hell Kisses The Earth’, both available on Bandcamp.
Late in 2013, I got the idea of recording some instrumental songs just for fun. I started working with a drummer from Italy, Andrea De Carolis. I ended up putting together 8 songs for my debut solo album ‘Mr. Badass’ which was released via Bandcamp April 12, 2014.
In between recording music I also found time to write a fictional novel called ‘The Hammer’, featuring a character I created called Frank Blake, who was inspired by The Reckoning song ‘Vigilante’. ‘The Hammer’ is available on Amazon.
