The TV personality was welcomed as a new deckhand in episode 7 of the show’s season 1 after some drama between Kerry Titheradge and deckhand Kyle Dickard.
The captain fired her for misbehaving, which resulted in the stand facing a staff shortage for a few episodes.
Jacobson has joined the team to fill the role, and he quickly grabbed everyone’s attention as he was seen flirting with chief stew Faye Clarke. But the newbie in the show is not a stranger to the world of Yachts.

Seth Jacobson from Below Deck Adventure is 21 years old and hails from New England. Seth moved to Fort Lauderdale, where he started bartending.
That was when he would walk docks to docks searching for day jobs. Finally, with hard work and years of experience, he became a captain but demoted himself to deckhand abroad on the Mercury since he had never worked in Europe before.
He is also a yacht broker and Seth’s Yacht Service, LLC owner. The company provides services like sales, charters, deliveries, management, crew placement, repairs, and detailing.
According to the company’s website, he thought of starting a company when he realized there was a demand for detailers on yachts. Then, he thought of starting a yacht management company and becoming a broker for the yachts he was managing.
In the meantime, he was also placing crew to other yachts and putting back-to-back charters with companies without getting any cut. Hence, he decided to start his own company that would provide all kinds of services for yachts.
When talking about his plans, he mentioned that he is thinking of writing a book, acting in movies, starting a product brand, and taking a starship to Mars.
He also advised everyone about dreaming big while mentioning his progress from walking the docks for day work to captain.
