Belinda Jo Carlisle is an American singer. She gained fame as the lead vocalist of the Go-Go’s, the most successful all-female rock band of all time, and went on to have a prolific career as a solo artist.

In 1986, Belinda Carlisle married film producer Morgan Mason, the son of actor James Mason and actress Pamela Mason. They have one son, James Duke Mason, who was born in 1992.
Last night, singer Belinda Carlisle and her son, actor James Duke Mason, were the special guests at a monthly meeting of PFLAG Bakersfield. Duke, gay and out since 2006, has had the full support of his parents, but it was the first time that they publicly shared they’re coming out journey together.
A huge number of people gathered with PFLAG Bakersfield–as well as other local LGBTQ organizations including The Trevor Project, Bakersfield Pride, Youth Empowerment Pride Project, and the Bakersfield AIDS Project (which hosted panels from the AIDS quilt, including that of activist Morty Manford, whose mother Jeanne Manford founded PFLAG in 1973).
