Basic Travel Requirements for Angolans visiting
Belgium
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Belgian Visa.
- Belgium visa application form. The form should be completely filled, printed and signed by applicants.
- Angola passport that is valid for at least 3 months beyond the date of exit from Belgium.
- The passport must have at least two blank pages to affix Belgium visa.
- Photocopies of applicant’s previous visa is required.
- Two identical passport photograph taken against a white background and must display a neutral expression.
- All required documents should be provided and translated into either English, French, German or Dutch.
- Medical insurance with a minimum of 30,000 euros that covers medical emergencies and repatriation in case of death.
- A cover letter from the host that explains the purpose of the trip to Belgium.
- Flight itinerary showing dates and flight number indicating entry and exit from Belgium.
- Proof of accommodation or hotel reservation for the whole duration of intended stay in Belgium.
- Bank statements showing proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Belgium.
- The bank statement must show that the applicant can afford 95 euros per day in Belgium.
- Minors are required to submit a birth certificate and notarized consent note signed by both parents.
- Minors should also provide certified copies of parent’s ID or passport of both parents
- Minor’s application form should be signed by both parents.

Requirements
- Business visa is issued to foreigners visiting Belgium for business activities.
- Completely filled and signed visa application form.
- Original Angola passport that is valid for at least 3 months beyond stay in Belgium.
- The passport must have at least two blank pages for Belgium visa.
- Two identical passport photograph taken within the last three months with a white background.
- Invitation letter from the Belgian company that applicant will be visiting and details and address, accompanied with the dates of the visit.
- Letter from the applicant’s employer in Angola, stating that the applicant will be traveling to Belgium and that the employer permits the applicant to leave throughout the required period.
- The letter of invitation must indicate if the host company is covering the financial expenses of the applicant.
- Bank statement for the last six months is required.

Requirements
- Medical visa is issued to patient who need medical care in a hospital or clinic in Belgium.
- Belgium visa application form. The form should be completely filled, printed and signed by applicants.
- Original passport that is valid for at least 3 months beyond stay in Belgium.
- The passport must have at least two blank pages Belgium visa stamp.
- Photocopies of applicant’s previous medical visa is required.
- Two identical passport photograph displaying a neutral expression.
- A local medical report issued by doctor/clinic/hospital in Angola that applicant needs medical treatment is required.
- A medical attestation from the hospital or doctor in Belgium, confirming the dates of applicant’s appointment as well as medical situation.
- Receipt showing proof that applicant has paid the medical fee.
- Official confirmation of the treatment by the receiving medical institution in Belgium.
- Proof that applicants have sufficient funds to pay for the medical expenses and other related expenses throughout treatment.

Requirements
- Tourist visa is granted to foreigners who wish to visit Belgium for vacation, sightseeing, and exploring Belgium.
- Applicants can also visit friends and family members with tourist visa.
- Belgium visa application form should be completely filled, printed and signed.
- Angola passport that is valid for at least 3 months after date of exit from Belgium.
- The passport must have at least two blank pages for Belgium visa.
- Two identical passport photograph taken against a white background.
