She knew that her partner loved horse racing and thus, suggested he go for it. At that time, Hunt did not have any plans as he was going with the flow but loving his everyday life.
But, upon his wife’s suggestion, he thought it was a good chance to get paid to watch the horse racing. As a trainee, they left him free commentating on greyhounds.
As a result, he acquired the skill of pacing himself, which is just as vital in a commentator as in a competitor, and he got plenty of experience.
