Barbara Alyn Woods is an American actress best known for her roles in television series One Tree Hill and Honey and I Shrunk the Kids, Circuitry Man in 1990 and The Terror Within II in 1991.
Since 1988 Woods has acted professionally. She is known for playing on the WB / CW teen drama series One Tree Hill. She starred in the show from 2003 to 2009 and featured in the final season in 2012. She began recurring in season 1 and in November sweeps were promoted to full series regular status.
Despite the show’s format change she only appeared in four seasons 5 episodes but returned as a regular series in season 6. Woods played the lead role in the prime-time soap opera Eden, which was canceled after 26 episodes, in the USA Network in 1993. Woods posed naked for Playboy’s June 1993 issue as part of an Eden TV series promotion.
She is also remembered for her appearance on Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show that aired from 1997 to 2000. In the early 1990s, Woods appeared in a variety of films, including Circuitry Man in 1990, The Terror Within II in 1991, Delusion in 1991, The Waterdance in 1992, Flesh and Bone in 1993, Ghoulies IV in 1994 and Frankie Starlight in 1995. In 1996 she also starred in the film Striptease by Demi Moore.
Woods has also worked on several TV shows in guest roles including Star Trek: The Next Generation, Married … With Kids, The Golden Girls, Picket Fences, Seinfeld, Murder, She Wrote, Touched by An Angel, Dream On, Desperate Housewives, and recurred in 2010 to ABC’s The Doors.

She was cast as in the American science fiction television series Kareen Brianon, a female Human in the 24th century and personal assistant to Doctor Ira Graves. Once she was very young Brianon came with her father to the planet Gravesworld. Alas, her father died early, and she lived there until 2365. She became a personal adjutant to Graves once she was old enough. He took on the responsibility of teaching her, notably, all of her non-Human knowledge came from him.
During her terminal illness, she cared for him too. She contacted the USS Enterprise-D in 2365 when Graves’ illness caused a rapid fall in his health.
