Being related to the First Family of the United States of America anyway is bound to give you all sorts of publicity. We can say that the group of people we are going to talk about are going to hold up pretty well. Barack Obama’s daughters will certainly not be considered the worst first children in history, and after their historic exit from the White House, this article is long overdue.
His parents, on the other hand, were sadly not given the opportunity to witness his rise to power, but we still want to know about them. In a way, it’s a trip to the past and the future. Today we are talking about Barack Obama’s daughters in the future.

Barack Obama’s daughters
It’s no small feat being the daughter of the most powerful man in the world, and we bet Malia and Sasha can tell you that. For eight years, the girls grew up in the public eye while trying to have a personal life… As confusing as it may sound, we can all agree that they have been successful to some degree.
The first is Malia Ann Obama and she was born on July 4, 1998, her little sister Sasha Obama was born on June 10, 2001.

She was only ten years old when her father took office, what a thrill and fright it must have been for young Malia at the time. Since then, the world has watched her blossom into the young woman she is today, through the lens of the media.
Having her mother, the very lovable Michelle Obama, as her role model, Malia certainly has some very big shoes to fill for the future (no pressure there). After all, we’re supposed to surpass our parents in terms of achievement, aren’t we? Well, this president’s daughter is already on the right track.
She has just received her diploma from Sidwell FriendsShe has been admitted to the prestigious Harvard University, where she will become the latest in a long line of presidential children to have completed higher education at this establishment. Her parents tried to give her and her sister some semblance of a normal childhood.
Like most teenagers, she learned to drive…but she was taught by the Secret Service, which doesn’t happen to most teenagers. She shared a pet with her sister and they had family dinners every night. Despite all these things, you still can’t confuse theirs with a normal family.
Malia and Sasha were named two of the 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014, they’re not really on social media or ‘out there’, but they’ve carved out a place for themselves when it comes to teens and the world. Nevertheless, Malia is still daddy’s little girl and the former president himself called her “one of my best friends”.

Sasha, on the other hand, has people wondering what’s next for her. According to Yahoo News, the youngest in the family, Sasha, has avoided scrutiny over reports of what her sister and parents are up to, asking the question: what’s next for Sasha?
Well here’s the answer in layman’s terms, being that she’s still a freshman at Sidwell Friends School, the former first family will be staying in Washington until she graduates from high school. Here’s what Obama himself said about a restaurant while visiting Milwaukee voters in March.
“We’re going to have to stay for a few years, so Sasha can finish school and transfer someone in the middle of high school. It’s tough. ‘Sasha recently attracted a lot of attention when her absence was noticed during her farewell speech. The twittersphere was kinda crazy for a while, people were suggesting all sorts of reasons.
Sasha Obama couldn’t make it because she’s at home planning her 2040 campaign, @taylortrudon tweeted. @CelineBesman, took a more humorous route, saying, Sasha Obama: ‘Can I have Tuesday night my dad gives his farewell speech’ Manager: ‘Only if you can find someone to cover your shift.’
It turned out high school was the culprit, Obama’s second daughter was at home studying for an upcoming exam.

Barack Obama’s Parents
Obama was born to a black father and a white mother on August 4, 1961, at Kapi’olani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. His mother, Ann Dunham (1942-1995), was born in Wichita, Kansas, and was of English ancestry. Her father, Barack Obama Sr. (1936-1982), was a married Luo man from Nyang’oma Kogelo, Kenya.
They got married shortly before their son was born and also divorced shortly after he was born. His father often visited him, while he was based in Kenya at the time…he soon met his untimely demise in a car accident. Her mother died in 1995 in Hawaii after unsuccessful treatment for ovarian cancer and uterine cancer.
Few both knew their baby boy would make history.
