After he dropped out of the University of Sydney, in 1964, he launched his first hospital that was one of the earliest private psychiatric hospitals in Sydney. Through the years, his business evolved into Ramsay Health Care, which currently owns a chain of 116 hospitals and other facilities across Australia, the U.K., France and Indonesia.
