Baltimore Ravens Preseason Record Last 5 Years

Ravens preseason record last 5 years is 19 straight wins against the Eagles, Jaguars, and Packers. The team went undefeated from 2015 to 2023.

They surpassed the Packers from the top position in 2021 by reaching 20 wins counting from 4 wins in 2016 pre season matches against the Panthers, Colts, Lions, and Saints.

They had not lost a single game in the last 8 years and their dream of continuing the record for another unshaken pre-season ended with their 28-29 loss to Washington Commanders on Monday, August 21, 2023.

The team started with a 20-19 win over Philadelphia Eagles but had to bear a low-margin loss to the Commanders.

Although no one emphasizes the pre-season records with much importance, whether it be exhibition games or those of a regular season, the NFL record book still counts the winning streak.

John Harbaugh, the head coach of the Baltimore franchise stated, “There is a significance and meaning to everything in life.”

Both the coach and the team like to take pride in the history-making wins. The team has gathered 24 pre season wins with their victory in the last game with the Eagles.

Baltimore Ravens Preseason Streak

Baltimore Ravens preseason wins streak marked up 24 consecutive victories after the team defeated the Eagles on August 13 by a 20-19 score.

They had the longest winning streak for exhibition games in the history of the NFL until the recent match on Monday where they got defeated by the Commanders by just 1 score difference.

Last Preseason Loss

Ravens last preseason loss was to the Washington Commander on August 21, 2023. They made 28 score points whereas the opponents had 29.

The Commanders concluded the game with a total of 426 yards whereas the Ravens wrapped up with 334 yards. The FedEx Field saw history turning its foot away.

The remarkable incident that blocked a Ravens win at the end was due to the Commanders’ placekicker Joe Slye’s 49-Yard Field Goal which provided the team with a winning score.

The Commanders paid off their five straight preseason losses to the Ravens this time. Until Monday, the Washington squad was the only team to bear most losses to the Baltimore franchise in pre-season games among others.

Before that, the Ravens had gone through a defeat only 8 years back when they lost to the Atlanta Falcons on September 3, 2015, as they failed on two points conversion.

Most Points Scored In Preseason

Most points scored in a preseason NFL game include a 59-24 score by Green Bay Packers against Indianapolis Colts in 2010. It was 83 in the combine.

In that game, Aaron Rodgers passed for three touchdowns, and the match ended with Jason Cherry’s punt return for a touchdown. Cherry was an undrafted rookie.

It was the highest score for the team since their 73-0 win over Cedar Rapid Crush in 1938. Similarly, their 44-37 score against Arizona Cardinals in 2009 is also among the top gains in the pre season.

There is not much record available regarding the top scores as the pre-season scores don’t impact parts of the regular season. In a simple sense, it doesn’t account for any important positions or rankings.

But the exhibition games do create many memorable moments for the team members as well as the fans on the field.
