He was born in Lagos State where he grew up and had his primary and secondary education.

Early Life and Education
Baba Suwe was born in Inabere Street in Lagos Island where he was raised but hails from Ikorodu local government area of Lagos State.
He attended Jamaitul Islamial Primary School in Lagos and Children Boarding School, Osogbo for his primary education.
After his primary school, Baba Suwe proceeded to Adekanbi Commercial High School in Mile 12, Lagos state and Ifeoluwa Grammar School in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, southwestern Nigeria

Baba Suwe began acting in 1971 and featured in a movie titled, Omolasan, a film produced by Obalende
