Avenue Healthcare was founded in 1995 for the purpose of managing the outpatient department at the Hospital, and to extend medical services to corporate clientele through an innovative concept of Managed Healthcare. Avenue Healthcare currently has two hospitals and fourteen clinics – Six in Nairobi; and one each in Kisumu, Mombasa, Thika, Nakuru, Ongata Rongai, and Eldoret.

The idea of bringing medical services to company clients in the form of Mobile and In – House clinics with a 24 hour hospital back up has been very successful. Avenue Healthcare now serves over 1000 companies

Avenue Hospital Nairobi

Since it’s founding in 1976 by the late surgeon, Dr. B.P. Patel, Avenue Hospital Nairobi has grown into a 65 bed, private health facility. Located in Parklands, the hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality medical care.

The facilities and equipment are state of the art, with first class finishing designed to last 100 years.

The Industrial Area Clinic, located on the Ground Floor of P.J. Place on Enterprise Road, was officially opened in 1999, making it Avenue’s 3rd clinic in Kenya.
