Evan Rodrigues Children: Sons Grayson And Noah Rodrigues

Evan Rodrigues and his wife, Christina, have two young sons. Grayson, their first child, was born on October 28, 2018, in Buffalo, where Evan was playing for the Buffalo Sabres.

A year later, Evan was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, and his family had to relocate to a new city while raising their one-year-old son.

Noah, their second son, was born on June 17, 2020, in Salem, Massachusetts, right before the NHL bubble.

Evan was in Pittsburgh then and had to drive back and forth to be with his family.

Despite the challenges of being away from his family during the NHL bubble, Evan was happy to get back home to his wife and kids.

Being a father has been a life-changing experience for him, and he enjoys watching his sons grow up and develop their own personalities.

Having his family around has benefited his hockey career, as these young boys love hockey as much as their father does.

According to Evan, it’s a lot of fun watching his sons grow up, and every day they get smarter and more communicative.

As part of his pregame routine, Evan often plays mini-hockey with his sons in their living room. The mini rink was made from a rug purchased by Christina.

Grayson even sings the national anthem and acts as an announcer for goals and penalties, which is no surprise to Evan, given his sons’ exposure to hockey.
