• The
  Austrian visa is issued to individuals who want to visit friends or
  family members in Austria.
• This
  visa is usually valid for a maximum stay of 90 days in every 180
  days.
• The
  Austrian tourist visa is also known as a visitors visa and it can be
  issued to foreigners who wish to visit a friend or a relative in
  Austria.
• Laotians
  who wish to visit Austria for sight-seeing, holiday, tours and other
  recreational purposes can also apply for this visa.
• Foreigners
  in Austria on a tourist visa are not allowed to take up paid
  employment.
• A
  travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 € to cover
  medical emergencies such as accidents or illness that could arise
  during your stay in Austria is required.
• Previously
  used Schengen visa (if any).
• A
  cover letter stating the reason for your visit and your duration of stay in the country must be submitted.   
• Complete
  travel itinerary.
• Proof
  of accommodation in Austria.
• Applicants
  who wish to stay with a host in Austria are required to submit an
  invitation letter from the host, the letter must state that the host is capable of taking care of the applicant while in the
  country.
• The
  invitation letter must also show the residential address and contact
  details of the host.
• Applicants
  who wish to stay in a hotel must show proof of hotel reservations
  stating the name of the hotel and contact details.
• Recent
  bank statements or payslip to show proof of financial status.
• Proof
  of paid visa application fee.
• A
  valid passport issued in not more than 10 years with at least three
  months validity period and blank passport pages for visa stickers are
  required.
• Recently
  taken passport sized photographs.
• Proof
  of civil status e.g marriage certificate or children birth certificate. 

• Austrian
  business visa is a visa issued to foreigners who intend to visit
  Austria for business transactions.
• Laotians
  who wish to visit Austria to sign business deals, for meetings,
  conferences, exhibitions or trade fairs can apply for this visa.
• A
  letter from your employer is required which should state the reason
  why you would be traveling to Austria.
• The
  letter show also state your current job position in the company and your monthly salary.
• An
  invitation letter from your company business partner in Austria, the letter must show your partner address, contact information and your entry and exit dates in Austria.
• Applicants
  are to present proof of how they intend to fund their trip. Either the employer or the partner company must state coverage of expenses on the letter or invitation.
• A
  document showing proof of hotel reservations or accommodation in
  Austria.
• A
  valid travel insurance that will cover accidents or illnesses that may occur during your stay in Austria.
• A
  valid passport not more than 10 years with a validity period of 3
  moths after your exit date in Austria.
• The
  passport must have blank pages for visa stamps.
• Applicants
  are not allowed to take up paid employment while in Austria for business purposes.
