The first contestants for “Australian Survivor2023 Heroes Vs Villains” have been revealed.
Hayley Leake, the winner of Brains vs. Brawn, and George Mladenov, aka King George of Bankstown, the runner-up, will be the first tribe members to walk the beach for the upcoming season of Australian Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains.
Leake, of course, will be a member of the Heroes tribe, whereas Mladenov will be a member of the Villains tribe (of course).
Notably, Heroes Vs. Villains will see Australian Survivor return to Samoa, where the show’s inaugural season was shot back in 2016.
Since Australian Survivor: All-Stars, before the COVID pandemic slammed international borders shut, this will be the first season to be recorded abroad. Blood Vs Water and Brains Vs. Brawn, the previous two seasons, were both filmed in outback Queensland.

Australian Survivor 2023 Cast Brings Back Heroes and Villains In A Clash
Several celebrities, including the 2022 cast members Jordie Hansen and Nina Twine, the 2019 cast member Shaun Hampson, and the 2016 winner Kristie Bennett, had previously been made public by So Dramatic! But as mentioned in So Dramatic! episode 230, Kristie was withdrawn or dropped at the last minute.
Long after the group had flown out for filming and had their devices taken away, the 30-year-old was still active on LinkedIn.
They said, “There’s no way she has someone managing her LinkedIn,” and, hey, the extent some individuals would go to…
Along with her 2016 co-star Craig I’Anson, who was initially expected to appear in the 2017 series but was later cut, Kristie was still active on Facebook.
The source claimed that the producers also abruptly added numerous other celebs in addition to those mentioned above. Regarding the Brains vs. Brawn 2021 contestant, they declared, “Simon Mee is back on the show.”
He was first fired, but now that he’s back, something must have changed. Perhaps he took Craig’s place as the alpha male.
We have access to several new returnees in addition to the talents we already know, including Jordie, Nina, Shaun, George Mladenov, and Shonee Fairfax.
On Australian Survivor Heroes vs Villains 2023, Hayley Leake, George Mladenov, David Zaharakis, and Shonee Bowtell are confirmed cast as of now. Further cast members will be updated.
Hayley Leake
Physiotherapist Hayley Leake is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of South Australia (UniSA), working under Professor Lorimer Moseley’s direction.
She participates with Dr. James McAuley’s pain research team and the Center for Pain IMPACT at Neuroscience Research Australia (NeuRA).
She is also very active on Instagram under the username @hayleyleake_, where she has 23.9k followers and lists herself as the sole survivor in the account’s bio.
She published a photo two days ago with the caption “Heroes Vs. Villains” and revealed that she is a participant in the Australian Survivor Heroes Vs. Villains.
Many of her family members and well-wishers have left comments on her post with supportive words and wishes.
George Mladenov
George Mladenov is a participant in the Australian Survivor. George focused on strategy and advantage-finding for a significant portion of the game.
At the first Tribal Council, he was able to save his comrade Wai Chim thanks to a Safety Without Power advantage.
After that, he worked with Cara Atchison as a double agent for most of the game, switching between the Brains and the Brawn before rejoining the Brains.
As the game progressed, he would continue to rely on his strong relationships and strategic play to stay alive, making it to the Final two despite never having won an Individual Immunity Challenge and being a target or weak spot for opposing coalitions at 19 of the 23 Tribal Councils.
George is now in Qatar for the World Cup. He just posted a photo and a caption while taking advantage of the world cup season via Instagram.
David Zaharakis
In the Australian Football League, David Zaharakis represented the Essendon Football Club as a former professional Australian rules football player (AFL).
At Deakin University, Zaharakis is presently enrolled in a Bachelor of Property and Real Estate program. Zaharakis was cast as a member of the Heroes tribe for Australian Survivor: Heroes V Villains, which was revealed in November 2022.
At Marcellin College, where Zaharakis graduated from Year 12 in 2008 after attending Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School, he also won the Terrence Cleary Memorial Sporting Award for sportsmanship and athletic excellence.
He participated in youth football with Eltham in the Northern Football League and the Northern Knights in the TAC Cup. He represented Vic Metro and was chosen to the under-18 All-Australian team.
Shonee Bowtell
Shonee Bowtell (formerly Fairfax) competed in Australian Survivor: All-Stars, Heroes vs. Villains, and Australian Survivor: Champions vs. Contenders (2018).
Shonee returned for All-Stars, where she became good friends with Nick Iadanza and Harry Hills. Shonee returned with a grudge after being first sent into exile by her clan.
Shonee turned her back on her former tribe members to join Locky Gilbert, his Vakama alliance, and Harry.
However, after the merger, the new Mokuta tribe proved impenetrable, which led to the gradual disintegration of Shonee’s coalition.
Shonee had her game end for a second time after fellow former Champions v Contenders castaway Sharn Coombes withdrew from a last-minute plan to vote off David Genat at the final seven. The vote was tight, 4-3, and Shonee was eliminated.

Now, we can exclusively introduce a number of more new cast members joining Ten’s popular show. There will be appearances by immunologist Mimi Tang, ex-Miss Australia Sarah Marschke, pole vaulter Liz Parnova, and actress Sharni Vinson.
Author and broadcaster Benjamin Law, real estate agent Fraser Lack, and pilot-turned-plane accident survivor Gerry Geltch will be joining them.
Paige Donald and Matty Sharp are two less well-known names on the list, and we have no idea who he is unless he is the Weezer bassist!

‘Australian Survivor: Heroes vs Villains’ Is Set to Premiere in 2023
Finally, Channel 10 has revealed the date of the show’s debut and stated that the theme of the upcoming season is “Heroes Vs. Villains.” The idea came from Season 20 of Survivor in the US, which included Heroes vs. Villains.
It continues to be one of the most-watched seasons of the show. The show’s longstanding host, Jonathan LaPaglia, is featured in a clip that has been given as a gift to fans.
The clip reveals that the 2023 season of Australian Survivor was filmed where it all began: Samoa, “where the beautiful beaches will see Heroes and Villains battle it out in grueling challenges to come out on top.”
The network has announced that Australian Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains will debut sometime in January of next year, though we don’t yet have a specific date.
Since Jonathan made a mysterious remark just before Nina Twine departed from this year’s Blood vs. Water, there has been much discussion over whether or not she will return.
