An Australian DJ, Anna was born in Sydney, Australia on May 26. Her main genre is EDM and she has performed in many music festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, TomorrowWorld, Hard Summer, and Ultra.

Slowdown Studio is a one-man business that Marc runs out of his garage. In the studio, Marc usually works with textiles and artist-designed woven blankets.
The graphic designer uses the internet to connect with various artists online through picture-based websites like Instagram, Pinterest, and Tumblr. However, due to the success of the studio, nowadays many artists approach him and the studio, and he holds annual art competitions on Instagram in July to unearth talent.
The company is hugely popular on Instagram and as of the writing of this article has well over 386K followers on its Instagram page. They have also expanded their business to include not only textile products but pottery products and also glassware.
Das Monk T-Shirts
Das Monk T-Shirts is another venture but one that includes both Marc and Anna. They use this venture to create and sell T-Shirts with zany designs.
The venture came about from the couple’s joint desire to make T-Shirts together. This coupled with another desire to help emerging artists from their home country birthed Das Monk.
The most prominent designs from the T-Shirt company deals with old cassette covers and album art from the 80s but the spirit of collaboration that the company fosters has led to many weird and surreal art appearing on the clothing.
Though initially a venture that focused on Australian artists, the company has now given opportunities to artists from other countries like Japan, Canada, the U.S., and New Zealand too.
Anna And Marc Married Life
Anna and her partner Marc have been together since before 2010. They moved to Los Angeles, California together looking for a change in scenery.
As can be seen from the previous section, the two have often collaborated when it comes to their professions. Their joint T-Shirt venture, Das Monk, came out of a mutual need rather than one taking the lead over the other.
However, despite their close proximity in professional relationships, the two have kept a remarkable distance on social media. Anna does not post about her husband on social media, though she has started to post more about her children.
As for Marc, he has set his social media to private and his Instagram page is inaccessible. Judging by the fact that the page has 612 followers and 573 following as of the writing of this article, one can surmise that it is his personal Instagram page.
Despite his online privacy, Mac has never been shy about talking about his admiration for his wife. In an interview with Opumo that took place on July 17, 2018, the former graphic designer credited his partner for being his inspiration.
In the interview, Marc stated that his wife is the reason behind keeping his ideas fresh. He listens to his wife because she is all about innovation in design and not accepting only one style as their aesthetic.
Their love for each other also extends to their two children, and Anna especially has not been shy about showing her love for her children online.
Anna Has Two Children With Marc
Anna had Marc have two children together named Willa and Rocky. Willa was born on August 30, 2017, while Rocky was born on February 14, 2020.
The DJ announced the birth of her daughter on social media and had been teasing about her birth by sharing many pictures of her pregnant belly. She did the same when it came to her young son too.
In fact, back in 2017, the Australian DJ performed at Coachella while pregnant with Willa. She kept performing while pregnant and despite stating publicly that she would be taking some time off performing, she ended her touring for the year by performing eight months pregnant at California’s Hard Summer festival.
Her pregnancy with Rocky was less hectic but was followed by more than a year of staying stranded as the COVID-19 pandemic soon followed his birth. Thankfully, none of the family members were affected by the pandemic and the illness.
In fact, her pregnancy influenced her music as she stated that she would feel a spark of inspiration during her late-night breastfeeding sessions which would then lead her to create music at midnight. An early version of her song Ice Cream, which was eventually released on December 2, 2020, came from one of these late-night sessions.
As of recently, she has started touring again and occasionally takes her children with her. They can often be seen on her social media hanging around their mother.
Annie has taken great pains in making sure that her children are not harmed by the loud noise at the festivals and concerts she frequents and often has them wear noise-canceling earphones.
Her daughter has started showing aspirations for music as she enjoys playing with Anna’s DJ rig setup that she has at home. All in all, the family is a happy one despite the many ups and downs in their lives.
