PDC World Championship has announced the death of Australian darts star, Kyle Anderson.
Kyle Anderson turned professional in 2014. He did well to reach the last 32 at Alexandra Palace on four occasions. The late Kyle Anderson won his first ranking title at a Players Championship event in August 2017. He then doubled his success with the Auckland Darts Masters a week later.
He was one of eight players to hit a nine-dart finish at the PDC World Championship
“We send our condolences and best wishes to Kyle’s family and friends at this terribly sad time, particularly his wife and children. He was a popular player on the tour and his talent and dedication made him an inspiration to other players around the world,” PDC president Barry Hearn:
Adding to the confirmation of his departure, PDC Darts wrote on their official Twitter handle;
“We’re devastated to learn that Australia’s Kyle Anderson, the 2017 Auckland Darts Masters champion, has passed away, aged 33. All at the PDC send their condolences to Kyle’s family & friends.”
