She began her career as a meteorologist in Savannah, Georgia, working for WJCL and WTGS television stations. She then went on to serve as the weekend meteorologist for WNBC. She then moved to WCBS, where she served as the meteorologist for “Channel 2 News in the Morning” and “CBS 2 News at Noon”. She was replaced at WCBS in 2007. She is now the primary meteorologist for WWOR-TV in New York, and also fills-in on WNYW. Fox owns both stations. She is the daughter of famed musician, Tito Puente, and the sister of musician, Tito Puente, Jr.
