Marc Leishman’s wife suffered from suspected sepsis in 2015.
However, the doctors later confirmed that it was toxic-shock syndrome which is a rare life-threatening disease. Besides, she also suffered from acute respiratory distress syndrome.
As a result, she was kept in an induced coma for four days in order to exactly determine the disease. Then, she was later diagnosed with ARDS.
Due to his wife’s condition, Marc left the preparations of the Masters and flew back and rushed to the hospital. The family is happy that Audrey was treated well and succeeded to win over the illness.
