Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Armenian Visa.
- Fully completed and signed visa application form.
- Two recently taken passport-size photographs meeting the visa photo specifications.
- An original Rwandan passport not older than 10 years, with at least three months validity on the date you’re to leave Armenia. It must have two blank pages for visa.
- A round trip reservation or itinerary which includes entry and exit dates as well as flight numbers.
- Travel insurance
- Proof of accommodation for the entire duration of your stay in Armenia
- Proof of financial sustenance.
- An invitation letter from a legal person in Armenia.
- There’s no Armenian embassy in Rwanda, visa applications can go through the nearest available embassy which is in Cairo, Egypt.
- You cannot enter or exit Armenia with more than $10,000.

Requirements
- This visa is for Rwandans travelling to Armenia for various purposes such as tourism, visitation, business, medical treatment or other short term stay.
- You can also visit loved ones, attend business summits, conferences and trade-fairs with this visa.
- An invitation letter from the inviting party in Armenia is required to be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign affairs and a notarized copy presented at the embassy for the visa application.
- This letter is to be written on the inviting company’s letter head if purpose of travel is business related.
- Documentation validating that the inviting party is legal and recognized in Armenia is necessary.
- This visa has a single entry stay of up to 21 days and a multiple entry stay of 60 days. The visa is valid for 6 months.
- The single entry visa costs $6 while the multiple entry is $41.
- This visa can be extended for up to a period of 6 months.
Armenia Long Stay Eligibility &
Requirements
- Rwandans travelling to Armenia for tourism, visitation, medical and business purposes who intend to be in the country for a longer stay are to apply for this visa.
- This visa allows its holders to visit loved ones, attend business meetings, summits, conferences and get special medical treatment while in Armenia.
- You must provide an invitation letter from a legal person or entity in Armenia for the processing of your visa application.
- This letter must contain full details of your trip including its purpose and duration. Documents supporting the purpose of your trip must be attached to the letter.
- The invitation letter is to be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign affairs while a notarized copy is to be presented at the embassy for the visa application.
- This letter is to be written on the inviting company’s letter head if purpose of travel is business related.
- Documentation validating that the inviting party is legal and recognized in Armenia is necessary.
- This visa has a single entry stay of up to 120 days and a multiple entry stay of 120 days. The visa is valid for 1 year.
- The single entry visa costs $31 while the multiple entry is $83.
- This visa can be extended for another 60 days.
Armenia Transit Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- The Transit visa is for Rwandans travelling to a third country through Armenia.
- You’re required to present tickets and valid visa to the final destination country unless you’re transiting Armenia by land.
- The transit visa allows for stay in Armenia for 3 days but can be extended for up to 4 days.
- A traveller intending to stay in the transit zone without entering Armenia can only stay for 48 hours except in cases of emergency.
- The transit visa has the option of a single entry visa or multiple entries visa with both having a validity of 1 year.
- This visa can be extended by the Passport and Visa Department of the Police of Armenia.
- The single entry visa costs $21 while the multiple entry is $37.
