Yes, Naeem and Ori from Love Without Borders are together and happily engaged. The pair first met in Panama City.
If you’ve ever seen reality series such as Married at First Sight, you would probably know how hard it can be for couples who have just met and hardly know each other to find common ground.
Bravo’s Love Without Borders follows five Americans -Danna Richards, Philip Michael Thomas Jr., Aaron Motacek, Gurleen Virk, and Naeem Thompson -who put everything on the line for love.
The 39-year-old licensed social worker came from Houston to Panama City in hopes of finding the love of his life. He was initially matched with Chandra Chugani but they didn’t work out.
Instead, Thompson met Ori while still in Panama City, with whom he felt an instant connection. It wasn’t long before the devoted social worker was down on one knee proposing.
Naeem and Ori Are Engaged
Naeem Thompson and Ori are still together and recently got engaged on Love Wihtout Borders. Naeem and Ori are planning their wedding.
Love Without Borders proved to be a matchmaking failure to some extent, as every match relationship coach Arica Angelo made didn’t last long.
But for at least one loving couple, the experience resulted in a marriage proposal.
After Naeem separated from Chandra, he took matters into his own hands and found Ori in Panama City.
The pair felt that chemistry between them right away and have been spending a lot of time together.
As evidenced by their Instagram posts, the couple loves traveling and has already been on exciting trips to beautiful places such as Costa Rica and Cartagena, Colombia. They have also been to Houston, Texas.
He says the more time he spends with Ori the more he realizes this feels right. Thompson further said the only reason he came to Panama was to meet her. “I’m in love with her.”
The Newly Engaged Couple Is Planning Their Wedding
According to Bravo, the pair are planning their wedding which is expected to be in early 2023.
On day 77 in Panama, with 13 days left on his visa, the social worker decided to propose to his girl on a romantic date with a spectacular view and lovely food.
The delighted bride-to-be couldn’t be happier to say yes.
Before popping the big question, Thompson even recited a poem he had written for Ori.
His poem – “Roses are red, violets are blue, oro means gold I’m glad I found you. My path to finding you included several trials and several tribulations. However, I remain strong in my faith, trusting it would lead to you.”
Looking into her eyes, he continued to say, “Ori I’ve waited my entire life to meet you. I don’t think I can see my future without you.” He then reached into his pocket, took out the sparking rink, put his left knee on the ground, and said, “will you marry me?”
Both shared the happy news on their respective Instagram.
Naeem Was Paired With Chandra Chugani
Naeem was initially paired with Chandra and he was eager to explore his connection with her. However, the pair didn’t feel that spark and later decided to split.
As fate had a different plan, Thompson soon found his light, Ori. Currently, Thompson is engaged with her and he continues to work as a social worker in Houston, Texas.
Meanwhile, Chugani is based in Panama City and is the owner of Chugani’s Boutique. The beauty company offers a wide range of grooming services and trade care products like perfumes and more.
In a recent Instagram post, she opened up about her relationship with Thomson. She said it takes time to trust someone and perhaps she was not ready for him.
She was going through a lot of fear, trust issues, and anxiety with Thompsom, and “he knew it.”
Chandra added, “he is a great person but when you don’t click with someone there’s no way it’s going to happen.”
Chandra learned a lot from this experience and doesn’t regret it a bit. And in the end, she wants to thank the amazing filming crew and Thompson for sharing this experiment with her.

Philip Michael Thomas Jr and Carmen Holzer-Nkrumah
Rising musician Philip has been living a single life for around seven months. He hoped to create a loving relationship in Ghana with 31-year-old beautiful entrepreneur Carmen.
Soon, he discovered that the pairing was not right. His experience with the entrepreneur didn’t turn out the way he had planned. Still, the experience let him know that love can be anywhere.
He said he deserves love and someone who will happily put his needs before theirs. Philip is open to seeing where fate takes him. He has now returned home and is focused on his music.
Aaron Motacek and Mael Lucas
Aaron, a 31-year-old optometrist, came to Paris to meet Mael, a 28-year-old massage therapist. The duo didn’t end up being a perfect match.
Hesitant to live outside of his comfort zone, Motacek returned home before his visa was up. Though he didn’t find the love of his life he realized the value to see how other people live.
The experience helped him to be more upfront and honest about his thoughts and feelings. Aaron shared, “I actually have been hanging out with somebody.”
Meanwhile, Mael fell in love with a larger apartment. Although he is not seeing anyone, he moved into a bigger space.
Danna Richards and Brian Dilleen
A 38-year-old musician and songwriter, Danna, came to Ireland hoping that Brian, a salesman turned vegetable and chicken farmer from Galway, would be her Mr. Perfect.
Unfortunately, the Galway native wasn’t. Richards felt that he didn’t care much about her feelings, so the pair split.
And though their relationship didn’t work out, she learned to stand up for herself and trust herself.
She explained she would not go for an unhealthy relationship and is glad she could see that as she believes it will help her next relationship.
She hopes her next connection to be her “forever relationship.”
Gurleen Virk and Shreyas Mehta
A 28-year-old program manager Gurleen traveled to Dubai where he met a 30-year-old model and fashion buyer Shreyas.
The pairing ultimately didn’t work and the duo opted to be friends. The program manager left Dubai before the show wrapped and as a result, Shreyas was paired with another single, Gabrielle.
Virk returned for the series’s finale to convey some happy news. She shared she has been dating someone and is happy she found someone she sees herself spending the rest of her life with.
Shreyas Mehta and Gabrielle Garcia
After Shreyas’ connection with Gurleen went sideways, he was matched with Gabriella, also known as Gabby. The pairing was going well and both decided to give romance a shot.
However, Gabby returned to the United States for her brother’s wedding. Mehta hoped she would return to Dubai, but Gabby admitted she missed her family after arriving in New Jersey.
She decided to stay and not return to Dubai. With neither of them dating other people, Gabrielle hopes to visit Shreyas in Dubai.
