JT (born Jatavia Shakara Johnson) is not happy with the way Lil Yachty treated her during her time in prison. One-half of the rap duo City Girls called out the “One Night” hitmaker during an Instagram Live for allegedly cheating on her while she was serving her time in jail.
JT related to a variety of her friends in the live stream, including Tommie Lee from “Love & Hip Hop” Tommie spoke about how after their conversation, Yachty “stayed down” for JT, while she completed her one-year prison sentence.
Disagreeing with Tommie, JT began to air out Yachty’s filthy washing. According to the 26-year-old model, Yachty never sent her any e-mails or texts and cheated on her while she was not able to be outside with him. “Man Yachty is a manipulator and a liar that’s why he stay in the trick zone,” she said, adding, “because he be lying like he really held me down but he had a whole b***h at his grandma’s funeral.”
JT let Yachty, though, safeguard himself. She called him to join the debate, screaming, “Come on in here Miles. They said you been telling people you held me down. They want to talk about, so let’s talk about it.”
Yachty then emerged from the space with the camera. Refusing to be drawn into the drama, he briefly reacted to JT’s accusations before leaving the location. “First off I want to say RIP grandma,” he said. “Ya’ll trip over my grandma’s funeral? Like for real this is straight cap and I’m not with this Instagram s**t.”
The lead songwriter for the hit song “Act Up” by City Girls is Yachty. He and JT are mates with the label, both of whom are registered with Quality Control. While there were rumors that they were dating, their relationship was never published.
