Hub Arkush returned to 670 The Score in Chicago on Wednesday afternoon with a qualified apology for his statements from Tuesday, in which he stated his intention to not vote for Aaron Rodgers for NFL MVP for reasons other than his on-field performance. Arkush has now limited his apology to writing.

He made the statement just hours after admitting that he “made a tremendous mistake” on Chicago’s 670 The Score radio station.

He said, however, that the error was not due to his remarks regarding Rodgers, but rather to the fact that he “failed to obey” the fundamental rule of voting, which is not to reveal your plans before they are stated.
