As per the latest reports, JTV hired Antonella Nester as a host after Kristen Keech left the network. Keech left a heartfelt message on her social media while announcing her departure.
She was fired as a QVC host, her husband was laid off, and she was diagnosed with cancer. Due to this, the couple had to sell their house and live on a board.
As Nester ticks through the list, it’s impossible to think that such a magnificent life and profession could have been devastated by so many personal calamities in such a little time.
Nester was found to have non-Hodgkin lymphoma. When physicians removed a lump from her arm, they discovered another in her breast. She is currently experiencing yet another major challenge as she battles breast cancer.

According to glassdoor.com, a host’s annual salary on JTV ranges from $51K to $49K. However, this is just an estimated number as the company hasn’t spoken anything about the actual number.
Meanwhile, as per the website, the host’s annual pay on QVC TV is between $21.5K to $32K. She had a very difficult time with finances after she was diagnosed with cancer and she didn’t have a job too.
Nester has gone public with her adventures as a liveaboard sailor, in addition to recording her cancer struggle on YouTube. The vessel is currently moored in Maryland.
The couple lives on the ship with their grown son and their cats Samba and Wizard. They intend to cruise the East Coast before traveling south when temperatures begin to fall after the summer.
She hasn’t abandoned her hobbies, which include collecting and trading ancient Singer sewing machines. She intends to sew drapes for the yacht.
