The actress whose real name is Anne MarieCancelmi was born on July 31, 1975 in Anchorage, Alaska. She is the daughter of Louis G. and Annette Cancelmi. Louis is a senior executive with Alaska Air, while Annette was a first-grade teacher at Newport Heights Elementary School. The professional name of the actress comes from Anna Maria Parisse, the maiden name of her great-grandmother. She has used this name since her debut.
Annie has a mixed ancestry. Her father is of Italian, Slovak and Polish descent, while her mother is of Italian and Syrian descent.
