Andy Reid Super Coaching Career: When did Andy Reid start coaching?
The National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs are led by American football coach Andrew Walter Reid, who was born on March 19, 1958. (NFL).
Reid started his coaching career in a professional capacity with the Green Bay Packers, where he worked as an offensive assistant from 1992 to 1998 and won the Super Bowl XXXI.
He served as the Eagles’ executive vice president of football operations from 2001 until 2012 before taking over as general manager. He is the only NFL coach to have led two separate teams to consecutive conference championships while also winning 100 games.
Reid rescued the Chiefs’ ailing team by being appointed head coach in 2013. He assisted in breaking the 1993–2004 playoff losing streak of eight games.
In his ten seasons with Kansas City, Reid has guided the team to victories, including three Super Bowl appearances, five consecutive AFC Championship Games, seven division titles, nine postseason appearances, and a Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl LIV, the team’s first in 50 years and Reid’s first as head coach.
