Andrew Burson of age 16 years old was a student from Albuquerque. He is a student at West Mesa High School.
It has been stated by a student witness that Burson had an altercation when some college students arrived on campus.
One student has described that officers were attempting to rescue the students. While Burson was laying down on the playgrounds.
He was given CPR on the floor, although was unable to survive.
The shooting incident had also prompted a temporary lockdown at the school. At the same time, police have investigated more than 20 students.

Andrew Burson died suffering from a gunshot wound. The police believe that he was fatally shot after a fight with another juvenile.
Albuquerque Police Department Chief Harold Medina had released the statement confirming the victim’s identity.
He stated: “It appears the victim was a student, he may have exited the school and some kind of altercation occurred with another individual,”
The Chief also mentioned that the shooter is another teenager. Although, no suspects are in custody at the time.
Also, it is unknown whether the killer was a fellow student or classmate with the victim. They believe that gun was carried out at the school.
Medina told: “We do have a suspect identified and we are trying to verify to see if it is indeed the offender,”
The Chief had also highlighted the city’s ongoing battle with violent crime. Homicide had reached 117 within the city limits last year.

However, the city of Albuquerque and West Mesa High School has provided sympathies to his grieving family members.
