Andrej Stojakovic Is A Five-star Small Forward Player
According to the Director of Scouting, Adam Finkelstein Stojakovic is a highly skilled Wing with good positional size and skills.
Being a tall player, he has many positions to shoot a score and can even initiate offense as a guard.
Andrej, also known to be the son of former NBA all-star Peja Stojakovic, is a proven shot-maker like his dad with a full assortment of threes, pull-ups, and step-backs.
He is also working on perfecting his semi-unconventional release that comes up on the left side of his body which is not likely to his dad. Stojakovic feels comfortable in the mid-post and mid-range areas, where he creates separation and uses his positional size to score over the top of smaller defenders.
Adam also states that he’s already a bit older in his grade, as he turned 18 this summer. But he has big feet, strong legs, and the type of backward upper body that suggests his frame could still be stretching out. If that proves to be the case, this is a prospect whose escalation might only be just beginning.
Andrej Stojakovic Commits to Stanford Over UCLA
For Andrej, UCLA emerged as the presumed favorite, but Stanford swooped in over the final few days and was able to land a commitment. The most important news is that he plans to sign early a few days after the announcement.
Andrej Stojakovic revealed that he had an immediate connection to the program as his old Jesuit High School teammate and neighbor, Isa Silva, is currently on the roster. Andrej says that he could set himself up for some time with much success even outside the court, with Stanford being a distinguished academic institution.
He ultimately chose Stanford because, in his eyes, it wasn’t just the best basketball decision for him but also an academic in the long run out of the four other choices. This is what Stojakovic said of his choice via 247 Sports. He believes in the whole program from top to bottom, the coaching staff, and their philosophy.
This statement from Andrej also reveals that he values his educational journey as much as his career in sports and the name and fame that he has gained from his extraordinary plays, which could be an excellent message for his fans from him.
Andrej’s Top Four Preferences Out Of Six
Andrej Stojakovic, the five-star wing from Carmichael (CA) Jesuit, had cut his list to four schools and was down to Oregon, Texas, UCLA, and Stanford. Here’s what he stated about his preferences before finally committing to Stanford on Monday.

In due course, about Oregon, he expressed Coach Dana Altman’s recruitment and their non-stop communication.
