Amyra Rosli Biography

Amyra Rosli (Nur Amira Izzati binti Rosli) is a Malaysian actress born on 24th August 1991 in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. She is known for her roles in Unforgettable and Ms Sombong’s. She is also the ambassador to cosmetic products AuraWhite Skin Spa and Baskin-Robbins ice cream brand.

She attended The Camden School for Girls in London, she holds a Diploma in the Theater at the Academy of Arts and Cultural Heritage (ASWARA).

Amyra Rosli Career

Amyra Rosli began her career in 2009 in Education TV, owned by the Education Technology Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia, where she appeared in the Bahasa Melayu Form 2 subject plan – Almost Equivalent Words.

In 2012, after three years of study at the National Art and Heritage Academy (ASWARA), she made her television debut on ‘Jodoh’. In 2013 she was given an assistant character in the ‘Warkah Clinta’ drama series, an adaptation of the novel ‘Love Story of paradise’.

Amyra was then given the lead character as Maya in a series of Crystals of Maya with Shahz Jaszle and aired on TV3.Amyra became an invitation guest for the Virus group at the Maharaja Lawak Mega 2014 stage.

She returned to the tv screen through the Bidadari drama series that aired on Slot Lestary TV3, starring Nonny Nadirah and Shahz Jaszle . Amyra was then involved in the theatrical performance of the Van Der Wijck ‘s Submarine Theater adapted from a novel with the same title published in 1938, Indonesian literary masterpiece, Hamka . Theater staged at Istana Budaya also starred by Amar Baharin and Saharul Ridzwan, after which, he with Amar, Emma Maembong and Hafreez Adam starred in the premiere dramaAccustomed Love adapted from a novel with the same title.

Her parents are Rosli Ahmad, a musician and composer, and Noor Zaridah Ahmad, former A&R Manager at Warner Music Malaysia. They lived in London for 6 years before returning to Malaysia after his father’s job was completed.

• On 11th November 2016 Amyra Rosli married Amar Baharin, an actor.

On 15th October 2017 Amyra Rosli and her actor husband Amar Bahari welcomed their first child, a baby boy,Aqeef Anaqi, at Prince Court Medical Centre. Amyra posted the picture of her newborn’s fingers wrapping around hers captioning.

“I pray that God will protect you my newborn child, from the evil that may harm us, Amin. Thank you for all the constant prayers.”

The couple had announced that they were expecting a baby in March 2017.

“I’m so happy today. I’ve been smiling from ear to ear, A few days after we got back from Australia, where we shot a programme, Amyra was experiencing stomach pains and vomiting. She went on working like normal but then the pain got really intense yesterday. I took her to the hospital and we did a scan. When we finally saw it and heard the baby’s heartbeat, we felt really grateful. There are a lot of people who have difficulties getting a baby.” Amar said.

Asked why the couple chose to go public with the news so early in the pregnancy (he broke the news on Instagram almost as soon as they found out), Amar responds: “Our industry is really small. When I went to the hospital yesterday, there were people who saw us, and people who tweeted (about it) so I can’t avoid these things. We discussed with each other and we wanted to share this news when we got the doctor’s confirmation.”
