Amy Stran, a former soap opera actress, has been named the official new host of a QVC program as of Tuesday.
The No. 1 home shopping network stated in a press release that Stran began working for QVC in February and completed a six-month training course “to learn about QVC’s items and sales strategy.” She presumably completed her probationary period.
According to QVC, Stran has worked in theater and television and has had roles on the soap operas “All My Children” and “One Life to Live.”
Prior to QVC, Stran presented the premium cable network promotion program “Premium TV.”
Stran graduated with a bachelor’s in theater from Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina.
