Amy Lysle Smart is an American actress and ex-model born March 26, 1976 in Topanga, California to John Boden Smart and Judy Lysle Barrington. Smart has always been the curious type, when she was still little she loved art and dreamed of exploring it to the fullest. She loves the art of her mother Judy, a museum curator. Amy grew up with both her parents and her brother Adam Smart.
When Amy Smart was 10, she started taking ballet lessons, and she says it helped ease her stage fright. She continued to dance throughout her days in middle school and high school. It was in high school that she began to like the idea of acting. She then joined her drama club and acted in plays. She also ventured into modeling just before she graduated from high school.
