She then moved to London to hone her literary skills, determined to get a collection of her own poetry published. There, she met producer Martin Terefe who then asked her if she wanted him to put some music to her poetry.
Amy and Terefe made a groundbreaking spoken word record which turned Amy’s focus entirely to music. From there, the progression to becoming a lyricist was natural.
The Nashville Scene described her as a “successful songwriter” whose songs had “hit the No. 1 slot” 3 times by 2009. Foster is best known for her collaborations with Michael Bublé, Foster has co-written “Home”, “Everything”, “Hold On”, “Just Haven’t Met You Yet”, To Be Loved, and “Beautiful Day”.
