BBC University Challenge announced that journalist Amol Rajan will replace the veteran host and presenter Jeremy Paxman starting autumn 2023.

The show fans are delighted with the news of the show’s new host since he is just as entertaining, but he will have to fill in some big shoes, so best of luck.

His parents moved to England in South West London, where he grew up in a Hindu family, but soon, with the modern world surrounding him, he stopped believing in God as a teenager.

At 39 years of age, the BBC journalist and presenter has a family of his own to take care of as a father of three children and a loving husband. He has had some downfalls with his statements against the Royal family, but he is trying to overcome his shortcomings.
Amol Rajan’s Salary And Net Worth
Amol Rajan’s salary as a journalist and broadcaster at BBC ranges from £325,000 to £329,999, and his net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.
The journalist will earn a lot more as a host of the famous quiz show, BBC University Challenge, but for now, he has been working as a presenter for BBC Radio 4 in the program Today.
