French-American chef, Alex Guarnaschelli currently serves as an executive chef at the Butter restaurant in New York City. The French-American was the executive chef at The Darby restaurant before it closed.

While working at Butter, the pair grew closer through their time together, but sadly, a kitchen accident leading to a finger injury swayed Clark away from a career in cooking.
Regardless of the future of his career, his interest in Alex Guarnascehlli continued to grow, and they eventually married and had their first and only child, Alex, on September 24, 2007.
