All You Should Know About Andrew Sendejo and Girlfriend Rumors

Andrew Sendejo wasn’t successful in the NFL draft of 2010 but he has worked his way up to be a professional in American football. Though he was quite disappointed that he didn’t make the cut, Parker didn’t let it undermine his career and he decided to start up with minor leagues. With such intent, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League (UFL) where he played as a safety. With time, he entered the National Football League (NFL) after he sealed a deal with the Minnesota Vikings, playing as a starter.

Early life

The Latino champ was born on September 9, 1987, in Bulverde, Texas to Brenda and Gary Sendejo. He is one of two siblings, he has a sister named Canyon Lake. He is of Mexican descent and has an American nationality.

Andrew Sendejo graduated from Smithson Valley High school in 2016. There, he recorded a remarkable high school career with the football team. He was an All-San Antonio Area selection for coach Larry Hill twice and also gained the All-State pick and an All-District 26-5A honor two times. His senior year record shows that he had 75 tackles, 4 interceptions, 8 pass deflections, one forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a game; a record he used in aiding his team to qualify for the Class 5A semifinals. He was later rewarded as the Comal County Defensive Player of the Year.

He later furthered his studies at the Rice University where he contributed immensely to the progress of the Rice Owls. Prior to his commitment at the University of Rice, he was among the few student-athletes who got several scholarship offers at the time.

Unlike some other football athletes who drop out of school to go pro, Andrew Sendejo graduated with a degree in Sports Management from Rice. He focused on his education while recording impressive tackles, yards, interception, touchdowns, and fumbles with the Rice Owls.

It was quite a surprise when he went undrafted in 2010 as his records as a student-athlete spoke volumes about his capabilities. After he had his hopes dashed, he signed with the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League (UFL). Despite being in a minor league, he gave it his best shot as he was quite sure it was an avenue to work his way to the big league as a footballer.

As a safety with the Lions, he played in eight games and completed the 2010 UFL season with 48 combined tackles & pass breakups in addition to 2 interceptions. In a short while, his outstanding performances spread to other teams. Dallas Cowboys (NFL) saw his potentials and signed a two-year contract with him but at first, he was placed on the practice squad. However, a few days afterward, he began his exploits with the team as he became active on the roster.

The New York Jets offered him a contract which was later marred as a result of the team’s craftiness. They intended to sign him in order to gain extra knowledge of his former team’s defense mechanism. Subsequently, the controversy needed to be investigated by concerned authorities but this didn’t keep Andrew Sendejo off the field, he kept doing his best at his games until he was released by the team.

On November 29, 2011, the Minnesota Vikings signed a two-year contract with the footballer, after his deal elapsed, they renewed his contract in 2013 and 2016. Certainly, Andrew has proven his relevance to the team and stayed put with them what with his outstanding performances.

Does he have a wife or girlfriend?

No record has proven that Andrew Sendejo is married, from all we have gathered, there are no indications of his marital bliss with anyone. Notwithstanding, yes, he has a girlfriend, a stunningly beautiful lady who runs an animal blog named Chloe Vickers.

Chloe is a graduate of the University of Texas. She was born to David and Helen Vickers on November 20, 1990. She is very active on social media platforms, oftentimes, she uploads pictures of her three siblings and two dogs.

Andrew Sendejo has shown his athletic talent as a starter in most of his games. He is also among the very tall athletes who have played for both UFL and NFL and he is not to be left out if we are to make a list of the physically fit men in both leagues. He stands at 6 feet 1 inch and weighs 94 kg.
