Beach It 2023 Location Details

Beach It Music Festival location is at the oceanfront side of Virginia Beach, Virginia, US.

What makes the area popular for all of these activities is that it attracts a variety of tourists ranging from college kids on summer break, families on summer vacation, and even international tourists coming to enjoy the best beaches America has to offer.

The area is also easy to traverse as the street nearest to the beach is numbered and one can simply walk from 1st Street down to find everything there is in Virginia Beach.

Prospective Beach It visitors would do well to remember this street path as the Country Music Festival is set to take place between the 1st and 8th Street beaches.

One of the reasons why Virginia Beach was chosen for the event has to do with the fact that the city won’t charge the festival for various costs. According to an announcement by Wavy.com, the city won’t charge the festivals for such amenities as the use of the beach, police, public works, parking lots, and even the use of police.

In fact, the city has given the festival a discount of roughly $1.5 million, and part of the reason why is that Beach It is set to be the biggest country show the area has ever had, as per Mayor Bobby Dyer.

How To Get Beach It Tickets?

Beach It Music festival tickets are being sold on their website. The price ranges from $249 to $1,199.

The festival first ramped up its ticket sales by providing a presale for Virginia beach locals and the military that started on February 18.

They announced on their Instagram page a week ago, with their caption stating that the presale tickets would be sold at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater box office, though only in person.

The presale took place on February 18 from 10 am to 4 pm Eastern Time and buying these tickets meant that one could save over $46. The passes for everyone else started going on sale on February 22, 2023.

There are three types of passes, each with its various perks and unique advantages. The tickets are:

  • 3-Day GA Pass
  • 3-Day VIP Pass
  • 3-Day VIP Reserved Pass.

3-Day GA Pass

The 3-Day GA or General Admissions pass is currently on sale for $249 as part of the first wave. As the ticket sales go they will eventually get pricier.

There are three waves in general, with the second wave set to be priced at $269, and the third way set to be at $299. However, the perks for this pass will stay the same no matter the wave.

Through purchasing this ticket, one gets access to the full three days of music and the beach, with the former meaning they can access the General Admissions viewing area which stretches along right next to the water. One also gets access to the food, craft, and drink vendors throughout the festival, with water refill stations being free.

3-Day VIP Pass

The 3-Day VIP pass is currently on sale for $899. Like the GA pass, it also comes in waves.

It is currently on the first wave, with the second wave set to cost $919, and the third wave set to cost $939. However, with the price upgrades comes bigger and better perks.

First, the buyer gets complimentary beverage service with a bevy of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from. They also get access to the VIP viewing area and the VIP Reserved Boardwalk viewing, which is to the right of the boardwalk area.

They also have an exclusive VIP entrance, private and air-conditioned restrooms, VIP-only food vendors, phone charging, and even misting chilling zones. Of course, they get access to their own Free Water refill station too.

3-Day VIP Reserved Pass

The 3-Day VIP Reserved Pass is currently on sale for $1,149. It is the most expensive bundle.

The second wave for this pass is priced at $1,169, and the third wave, which is the most expensive, is priced at $1,199. Despite being slightly more expensive than the VIP pass, the majority of the perks and advantages are similar to the previous pass.

The only difference between this pass and the previous pass is the fact that this price gives the buyer the ability to reserve a seat, which they can select during the time of their purchase.

Beach It Festival Sponsors

Beach It Festival sponsors are two big music festival promoters, Huka Entertainment, and Live Nation.

Huka Entertainment is a producer and promotor of music festivals and is based in New Orleans, which was founded in 2005. Aside from the upcoming Beach It Festival, they are responsible for some established and famous music festivals like Hangout Music Festival, Tortuga Music Festival, Hell Yes Fest, and BUKU Music + Art Project to name a few.

Most of Huke Entertainment’s projects span the Southern and Eastern coast of the United States which makes Virginia Beach part of their wheelhouse. The abovementioned music festivals all feature a variety of genres, but they are known to focus on and favor Country and Roots music in many of their festivals.

Live Nation, on the other hand, needs no introduction as they are by far the largest events promotor in all of the United States. Especially after they merged with the ticketing firm Ticketmaster in 2010 to become Live Nation Entertainment, they have become a business behemoth that has over 7.5 billion dollars in assets and generated a revenue of over $10.4 billion as of 2022.

It is precisely due to the ubiquity of these two co-organizers backing the festival that it has been able to be granted such leeway by Virginia Beach. This feeling extends towards fans too as many were wary of the festival when it was first announced, but knowing that Live Nation is behind it, prospective concertgoers have become more optimistic and even excited.
