Kate Walsh, best known for her role as Dr. Addison Montgomery on Grey’s Anatomy, looks a lot like Catherine Deneuve, a French actress. There is no clear connection between the two. Fans couldn’t help but notice the resemblance between them in the comments below the tweet. While the majority of fans referred to the Grey’s Anatomy episode, some referred to them as twins.
Walsh praised Deneuve in March 2019, in honor of Women’s History Month. She used Instagram to post a photo of Deneuve and a description of the actress. She referred to the French actress as her woman crush and expressed her admiration for her.
Other Connections Between the Actresses
The two actresses may share more than just a facial resemblance. They have both worked as models. Walsh worked as a model in Japan in the 1980s before becoming an actor. Deneuve was the face of Chanel No. 5 perfume in the late 1970s and appeared in two Playboy photo shoots. She’s also been the face of L’Oréal Paris and Louis Vuitton luggage, among other brands.
Both actresses appear to be interested in perfumes, beauty, and fashion. In 1986, Deneuve released a fragrance called Deneuve, which she named after herself. Walsh founded Boyfriend LLC, a beauty and lifestyle company, in 2010. Boyfriend, her first product, was a perfume.
They’re both involved in charities and social work. From 1994 to 2003, Deneuve served as UNESCO’s Goodwill Ambassador. She has volunteered for AIDS and Cancer Research and Children Action, Children of Africa, and Reporters Without Borders.
