The two girls grew up taking care of one another as their parents spent most of their time working – they also had a nanny from time to time, but the girls didn’t get along with her. They both became interested in modelling at around the same time, as they watched TV while their parents were at work, and later started reading girly magazines. Carmella attended a local high school, at which she was physically active playing soccer and tennis as she believed these would help her look fit, and become ready for her modelling career.
She was also hoping to one day launch her acting career, which is one of the reasons why she was a member of the school’s drama club.
Upon matriculating in 2013, Carmella didn’t enroll at a college but chose to pursue a career as a model.
Career as a model and social media star
Carmella was noticed by a modelling scout while attending her senior year of high school, and then got to sign her first contract. She has been featured in various popular magazines such as “Maxim” and “Playboy”.
She is a social media star whose Instagram account is followed by more than 2.3 million people while she has uploaded close to 1,000 pictures, most of which have her body in focus. Carmella has been active on Twitter since March 2018, and has gathered more than 15,000 followers while she tends to tweet at least once a week. She is also active on TikTok and her account is followed by close to 90,000 fans, while she’s gathered over 330,000 likes of all her videos and pictures combined.
Carmella has appeared in four short TV videos – in 2015 she was cast to appear in “Miami Swim Wildfox Couture Swimwear 2016”, which starred Devin Brugman, Andrea Cronberg and Kaitlyn Dorman, and the same year saw her appear in the music video “Duke Dumont: Ocean Drive”. In 2017, Carmella appeared as a model in the short video “Beach Bunny 2018 Swim” which starred Fiona Briseno, Tika Camara and Joy Corrigan, and her latest appearance has been in the 2018 short film “Frankies Bikinis: Resort 2018”, which starred Francesca Aiello, Daniella Beckerman and Fiona Briseno.

In early 2015, Carmella was in a relationship with Cody Simpson, an Australian singer, dancer, actor and songwriter known for the three albums he has released entitled “Paradise” in 2012, “Surfers Paradise” in 2013 and “Free” in 2015. The two dated for around three months before splitting ways for unknown reasons, and not long after that, Carmella started seeing David Bywater, a model and a social media star perhaps known best for his Instagram account which is followed by close to 100,000 people.
Carmella and David dated for over a year, and could’ve been seen attending many events together, however, they broke-up in mid-2016, again for unknown reasons.
Since 2018 Carmella has been in a relationship with Juanpa Zurita, a Mexican social media star, model and actor. The two met at a party at which they were introduced by a mutual friend, and there are no rumors nor controversies surrounding the relationship. So as of November 2020, Carmella is seeing Juanpa, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.

Carmella is physically very active, and has several training sessions at the gym each week, as it’s important for her modelling career to stay fit – she is also following a strict diet, and doesn’t eat meat but is rather ‘plant based’, as she’s explained in the caption of her Instagram account.
She likes to travel and her modelling career has taken her all around the US, while Carmella has also had an opportunity to visit several European countries such as Spain, France and Italy – her dream travel destination is Miami in Florida.
