It was in Frankfurt, Germany on September 13, 1993Alice Merton was born to a British father and a German mother. Just months after he was born, his family moved to Connecticut in the United States before moving again soon after to Ontario. She stayed here for the first 13 years of her life before having to move again to Munich.
While she was growing up, her family was almost constantly on the move because her father worked as a mining consultant. The singer has lived in places like New York, Bournemouth, London, Connecticut and different other places.
She was first drawn to music as a little girl when she started learning to sing and play classical piano. Alice attended high school in Germany where she also wrote her first song. Career-wise , the first time she made light of fame was in 2015 when she was featured in Fahrenhaidt’s The Book of Nature album.
