Basic Travel Requirements for Senegaleses visiting
Algeria
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Algerian Visa.
- Passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the return date.
- The Senegal passport must have at least one empty page for the Algerian visa stamp.
- Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Algeria visas.
- Two recent 2 by 2 passport photograph taken against a white background is required.
- One application form must be legible and fully completed in capital letters with signature.
- A copy of a valid ID document is required.
- Copy of air-ticket or itinerary is required to be submitted by applicants.

Requirements
- A transit visa is granted to individuals to allow them to pass through or transit through Algeria to the third party country.
- Original Senegal Signed Passport that is valid for 6 months.
- Passport should have one blank page.
- An application form that is completely signed.
- Two recent 2 x 2 colour passport photographs, in front view and with a white background.
- Letter of invitation for a transit visa is not required.
- Applicants should take note that the two countries in question mustn’t have any transit route between them other than through Algeria.
- The maximum stay for a transit visa is 7 days and it starts from the date of entry.
- A transit visa does not allow a stay for more than 5 days.

Requirements
- A
student visa is issued to a foreign student that wants to study at an
education institution, which is registered and approved by the Algerian Qualifications Authority. - The Algerian student visa application form must be completely filled and signed by applicants.
- Two recent passport size photographs taken against a white background is required.
- Covering
Letter from the educational Institute indicating that the applicant has
been accepted or has been granted admission to the educational
institute in Algeria. - Guarantee of Accommodation or
arrangements made by the Educational institute in Algeria should be
indicated in the letter of admission. - If applicants have a sponsor in Algeria, affidavit of support from sponsor and authorization letter from Sponsor is required.
- Bank statements of the last 6 months showing evidence of funds and Income are required.
- If the Tuition fee is paid in advance, then a copy of the fee receipt should be submitted by the applicant.
- Applicants are required to provide educational certificates, Mark sheets, Degrees, and Diplomas.
- IELTS / TOEFL / PTE score is also required.
- Police Clearance Certificate from Regional Passport Office in Senegal showing applicant has no record of criminal activities.
- Medical & T.B. X-ray Certificates from Panel Doctor in Senegal.

- A tourist visa is issued to foreigners travelling to Algeria for the purpose of leisure and tourism.
- Completely filled and signed visa application form.
- Signed original Senegal passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond stay in Algeria.
- The passport must have 1 blank page for the Algeria visa stamp.
- 2 recent passport photos taken against a white background within the last 6 months is required.
- Copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary for the duration of the trip.

- Two recent passport photographs should be two inches by two inches and must be taken against a white background.
- Signed and completely filled Algerian visa application form.
- Letter of invitation from sponsoring company in Algeria explaining the relationship to the applicant and the purpose of travel.
- The letter must indicate the length of stay, place of stay, and contact information.
- Original letter from employer or sponsoring company in Senegal, on company letterhead, introducing the applicant, indicating the applicant’s employment status/position held in the company, and clearly stating the purpose of visit to Algeria.
- The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in Algeria.
- Computer-generated flight itinerary from the airline or a travel agency or copy of airline ticket showing entry and departure from Algeria.
