McKinnie, a Los Angeles Lakers player who is a native of Chicago, was born there. His parents are Elisa Bryant and Alfonzo McKinnie Sr.
He was born on September 17, 1992. He played for Eastern Illinois University and the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay before joining the Lakers.
