Alexis Skyy (Alexis Skyy Mcfarland) is an American reality television personality, actress, model and entrepreneur. She is best known for her role on Vh1’s tv show Love & Hip Hop: New York and Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.
Skyy was a stripper and model. She later opened The Bella Sky Spa in Atlanta, Georgia, in June 2016. The spa has since closed. In July 2017, she joined the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood to co-star with Keyshia Cole, Ray J, and Teairra Mari.

Alexis Skyy Responds To Critics Who Have A Problem With Her Daughter Receiving Medicaid
Do you remember that Love & Hip Hop: New York segment in which Alexis expressed a bit of bewilderment over the changes taking place in her and her daughter Skylar’s life? The celebrity mom told her grandmother that it was a bit of a challenge moving Alaiya’s Medicaid coverage from one state to the next. Well, the notion of government assistance stopped some viewers in their tracks.
“So wait, #Alexisskyy baby on Medicaid,” one online critic asked. “So basically Alexis is poor. But she be ….and her Instagram…. But I thought…. Lol ok.” Another viewer said, “Alexis just exposed a lot of these alleged ‘boss chicks.’ Y’all got designer bags, shoes, clothes, cheating boyfriends, but on Medicaid and SNAP.”
Is Alexis living a double life? Well, no, according to the Instagram model.
“So I keep seeing people talk about Medicaid,” Alexis said in a video clip meant to explain why little Alaiya receives government assistance. “My daughter was a micro-preemie. She automatically qualified for Medicaid at the hospital because she was in the NICU.”
Alexis Skyy went on to say, “The only reason why I’m explaining myself right now is because I don’t play that, ‘Oh you got bags and [your kid’s on welfare].’ My daughter got more money … She got designer [apparel]. She has just as much as me. I don’t play that. She qualified for Medicaid because of all the services that she needs.”
Alaiya was born at the beginning of this year, which was three months ahead of schedule. She is Alexis and rapper Fetty Wap’s only child together.
