Alexandra Anna Daddario wasborn in New York City to Richard Daddario andChristina Daddario on March 16, 1986. She has mixed ancestry including; Slovak, Hungarian, Italian, English and Irish. She is also the eldest child of her parents, who are both successful lawyers. Her father, Richard Daddario, is a prosecutor and former chief of the New York City Police Department. He worked under Mayor Michael Bloomberg in the counter-terrorism unit, while her mother, Christina, is also a lawyer. Interestingly, her grandfather was a politician on her father’s side (Emilio Q. Daddario), who served as a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives for the state of Connecticut from 1959-1971.
Alexandra has only two siblings, a brother, Matthew Daddario, who is also an actor, and a sister named Catharine. She enjoyed growing up because she comes from an upper class family and was raised on the Upper East Side of Manhattan so she basically had most of the things her little heart wished for.
