Alexandra Adi (born April 13, 1971,) is an American film and television actress. She is best known for her appearances as “Samantha Milano” in the TV series Step by Step .
Early life
Alexandra Adi was born on April 13, 1971, in Floria and raised in Upstate New York.
Career
Adi has appeared in both independent and mainstream films, including American Pie, Jawbreaker, and Slap Her, She’s French.
She made her debut in 1995, appearing as “Megan” in the episode “Comic Book Murder” of the TV series The Cosby Mysteries. 1996 saw her film debut in the role of an ESPN Radio Announcer in director Steve Rash’s sport-comedy Eddie. In the following year, 1997, she landed the recurring role of “Samantha Milano” in seasons 6-7 of the TV series Step by Step. She played the part of the girlfriend of John Thomas Lambert (played by Brandon Call) and was seen in 13 episodes of the series, starting with The ‘L’ Word (aired 4 April 1997) to The Half Monty (aired 27 February 1998).
Most recently, she starred in director Matthew Huffman’s comedy Dealing (2012). She also appeared on a number of TV shows, including Boy Meets World, Encore! Encore!, and CSI: Miami.
Personal life
Adi currently resides in Los Angeles, California, with her husband, former Sapient executive Jerry A. Greenberg.
